Craster

Spring 2011 will see the opening of the five star luxury Hotel JAL Tower situated on the Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.  Craster has worked with JAL’s development team in the creation of a bespoke range of bedroom and spa accessories.

Craster were asked by the JAL Tower to create a range of amenity holders, tissue boxes and soap dishes for the bathrooms, and minibar kettle trays and turndown trays for their 474 guest rooms and suites. Craster also developed a range of tissue boxes, soap dispenser and trays for the discreet spa areas. Craster, who was chosen by the JAL Tower for their high quality manufacturing and their ability to create totally bespoke items, worked with Taro Haneda, Director of Rooms in the design of these items.

JAL specified a mixture of solid maple and walnut for the bathroom items. The amenity set features a spacious display surface for the key amenities and discreet drawer unit to house cotton buds, shower caps and lotions.  The bedroom kettle sets were made from ebonised oak with inlaid stainless steel stripes and the dress down trays were machined from solid maple. The spa items were machined from solid oak and finished in matt black to compliment the dark walnut, granite and stainless steel interiors of the JAL spa.
